Powerful & Secure rod handling
Gemsa GMR -Rod Spinner is a compact tool capable of making up and breaking out of drill rod threads during rod tripping operations. Designed to handle BQ, NQ, HQ, PQ, PWT rods and NW, HW casings without replacing jaws, this tool offers optimum productivity to the user and save time of the drill crew by fast and secure make up and break out operations.

* Reduces the use of stillsons and hand tools that are acknowledged as consistent cause of injury and risks resulting from operator or offsider fatigue.
* Eliminates Carpal Tunnel Syndrome injury caused by screwing of rods manually.

GMR-Spin
• Make up and break out functions are performed using the same jaws for BQ, NQ, HQ, PQ drill rods and PWT, NW and HW casing.
• The pre-torque pressures can be set to suit rod size. Ease of use by single lever operation.
• Self-centering on the drill rod with a simple funnel style rod guide.
• GMR-Spin is mounted on floating supporter arm which ensures no load is applied on the threads, causing premature wear.
• Outside housing guides the rods to slide against the spinner box when being pulled up the mast.

Portable / Stationary
Air Lubricators provide lubrication for most general air preparation applications in a pneumatic system. Gemsa Air Lubricators provide optimum and uniform lubrication with fine adjustment, including those with simple piping arrangements.
It is extremely important that an adequate supply of the correct type of rock drill oil is constantly fed to the hammer while it is operating. Failure to do so will quickly lead to excessive component wear and if the oil supply is cut off for any reason, the piston will quickly seize inside the wear sleeve, resulting in irreparable damage to both components. An air line lubrication system should be installed, preferably on the drill rig.
Drilling Application- DTH
The lubricator reservoir should be of sufficient capacity to supply the required volume of rock drill oil for a full shift.
It is equally important that the lubricator system must be adjustable and have a visual check to ensure the lubricator does not run out of oil. Gemsa design air lubricators according to above needs and specifications. Also as a good general guide, Bulroc hammers require a third of a point of oil per 100 cfm of air through the hammer (0.07 liter per meter cubed). The amount of lubrication oil should be increased by 50% when drilling with water or foam. When new drill pipes are added to the drill string, it is recommended that a half pint (quarter of a liter) of rock drill oil is poured into the pipe to provide a good internal coating and helps prevent the hammer from running dry at any time.
The grade of rock drill oil will be determined by the ambient temperature at the drilling site. If the ambient temperature is between 0 and 25 degrees centigrade, then a 30 grade oil should be used. If the ambient temperature is greater than 250 degrees centigrade, then use a 50 grade oil.

High Pressure Water Solutions

Winch Applications
Hydraulic vehicle-mounted winches used on, drill rigs , rescue and recovery vehicles, cargo trucks, trailers and heavy equipment transporters, armoured fighting vehicles, off road vehicles, tractors, loaders and earthmovers, fire engines, high tension line stringing rigs and many other applications.
Winches can be used in tropical and arctic climates as well as in the dry, dusty desert landscape. They can withstand temperatures ranging from –49°C to +55°C. All control devices for the winches can meet EMC requirements according to MILSTD461F.
