GEMEX MP 1500 H OA is an extremely powerful Gemsa’s heavy-duty mineral exploration drilling rig and can be used in a wide range of drilling operations such as mineral exploration, directional drilling and geotechnical drilling all over the world – from easy access open pit mines to the remotest of areas. Rig is uncomplicated and user friendly with ergonomic layout control panel simple to operate and maintain, provides increased levels of safety and operational flexibility with low overall cost of ownership. Thanks to onboard air compressor, these are all make the rig as all in one pack. Rig can be track or truck (6×6, 6×4) mounted. Crawler tracks, powered from the rig hydraulic system and tramming can be controlled from radio remote control device.Enjoy drilling !

MP 1500 H OA Basic facts:

* Coring (Diamond) and Reverse circulation (RC) drilling. 2250m NQWL, 1500m HQWL, 600m RC (4 ½”), 700m RC (4”) depth capacity. Powerful robust mast structure can be easily accessed and maintained. Operator has excellent accessibility for minor and major maintenance work.

* 250kN pull back capacity with speed 40m/min.

*Gemsa model two shift, floating spindle GM 1500 drill head driven by powerful Sauer Danfoss variable displacement motor. Fine control of drilling functions, greater flexibility with highly efficient hydraulics.

* Reliable and economical versatile diesel engine built on dependable Volvo in-line six design gives smooth and vibration-free operation with low noise level, featured with high torque.

* Onboard air compressor selection, working over pressure max. 30 bar (435 psi) with free air delivery “FAD” 590l/sec (1250cfm) or alternatively 34,5/ 24 bar (500/ 350 psi ) FAD 425/543 l /sec (900/ 1.150 cfm). Good choice for booster applications.

* Secure rod handling. Rod spinner reduces injury risks resulting from operator fatigue and provides consistent pre-torque joint for every joint in the drill string, increasing drill rod thread life. Perfect choice for PQ, HQ, NQ, PWT.
